Tourist drives 2014: Tickets available from 1 Nov.
The Nürburgring presents a new usage and price structure for the new tourist season 2014. The main change is that you can now decide for yourself which route you wish to use your ticket for – either for a lap of the Nordschleife or a 15-minute turn of the Grand-Prix track. Both will cost 27 euros in future. Your ring°card will then be credited with the purchased laps, and your card will be charged for the lap/turn you take. Holders of annual tickets (which until now did not include this service) can now also use both race tracks. The advantage for everyone who buys their tickets for 2014 by 31 Dec. 2013: It’s still the same price as in 2013!
Tourist sessions on the Grand-Prix track will be significantly cheaper
The price for a lap of the Nordschleife will be one euro more in the coming year. The new usage structure means that a lap of the Nordschleife or a 15-minute turn around the Grand-Prix track will cost 27 euros. The prices for the Grand-Prix track are thus dropping significantly in comparison, because while the price for a lap of the 20.8-kilometre Green Hell has risen by a modest 3.85%, a lap of the Grand-Prix track will be 12.2% cheaper compared with the previous year – until now 20 minutes cost 41 euros. When you buy a set of 25, the amount you save on a 15-minute ride is more than 30%. To ensure that everything runs smoothly, your ring°card can also be debited at the tourist entrance to the Grand-Prix track.
Significant advantage when you buy an annual ticket
In the new year, annual ticket holders can drive on the Nordschleife as well as on the Grand-Prix track using their personal card. This is a clear advantage, because in 2013 this version of the tourist session was not included in the offer. To pay for the additional service, the price increases by 175 euros, but it is amortised after only 5 turns on the Grand-Prix track. Annual ticket holders now have the option of using the modern Formula 1 race track, which is especially convenient if the Nordschleife is closed. In order to be able to offer this option as often as possible, the Nürburgring decided for 2014 to double the tourist session periods on the Grand-Prix track to include a regular Tuesday session as well as the Wednesday one.
Tickets for 2014 are available for the old price until the end of the year– tickets available from 1 Nov. 20133
Everyone who orders their tickets or annual tickets by the end of the year will enjoy an attractive benefit: you can purchase the new services for the 2014 season for the price of the 2013 tickets. To benefit from this promotion, the Nürburgring must receive your order by 31 Dec. 2013. Tickets can be bought from 1 Nov. 2013 from all the usual outlets and from Nürburgring’s online shop. Everyone who buys an annual ticket or a set of 25 will get a free “I’ve done it” Nordschleife sticker.
