"The Driver of the M5 did not get charged with negligence, and has been cleared of everything it appears. The car was concluded to have suffered a freak conrod failure which took out a coolant gallery and the side of the engine, spilling the oil.
He will get his bail fee of €1000 back from the Police.
He will have to pay the car recovery fee and staff fees which total to around €2000 which he can or might not claim back from the insurance.
The car is insured, and he will get the car back.
The 200SX passenger reportedly will make a full recovery (if he hasn't already).

This is obviously great news, and proof that Nurburgring GMBH can be fair towards UK drivers when it comes to awful situations like this, and thank you to everyone who helped us out whilst we were sorting things out. Considering the bill was potentially looking over a million euros, this is quite a relief!

A special thank you to Jim Cameron who arguably made the biggest difference in the outcome, you are a true hero."

Þetta er það sama og Gunther & Sebastian töluðu um í DTM.

NB þarna er verið að tala um race mótora sem þarf að taka upp ansi oft.

Ef mig minnir rétt þá var Gunther að tala um að menn hefðu ...detunað og notað 1 stimpilhring (hvort það var hans eigin hugmynd) til að geta runnað og runnað

AMG skipti um mótor milli tímatöku og keppni :shock: :shock:

Gunther sagði þannig frá þessu með stolti svo að mig grunar að hann hafi átt hönd í bagga


360/2.5L = 144 ps @ L 8) ......... AMG náði 382 ps í Ellen Lohr taxanum.......... enda hraðskreiðari :rollinglaugh: :rollinglaugh:
