Different terms used at Rice Beaterz
There are many terms used here at Rice Beaterz and used by Rice Boys like V-Tec, Cold Air Intake (CAI), and Down Force. The difference between when a ricer uses the term and when I use the term is the fact that I know what I'm talking about. Some people will claim that the site is being racist and hating, but that's simply not true! Read down below for the answers to the terminology that you seek.
Rice as a street definition
Rice (noun): Usually an imported automobile that has become an annoying piece of equipment on the road due to "Do It Yourself Modifications".
While originally rooted in racism, the term RICE no longer applies to a group of people belonging to an ethnicity when use in this web site, or web sites such as this. Rice is now a type of thing, mainly an automobile. When the terminology first came into use, motorcycle gangs riding domestics would criticize the import motorcycles by calling them "Rice Rockets". At that time, no one thought that these people were being racist, as neither ethnicity nor nationality of the person riding these bikes any consideration. Rice does not discriminate.
Ricer as a street definition
Ricer (noun): One who makes a family economy car into an eye sore on the road by using "Do It Yourself Modifications". Race, ethnicity, nor nationality is a factor in the definition.
Ricers are people who slap on body kits, stickers, and neon lighting in hopes to try making the car look faster than the car ever actual is or can be.
Riced as a street definition
Riced (prounoun): That which is, usually a motorcar, in the process of being/becoming, or having been a tacky, an eyesore, or annoying piece of equipment on the streets and/or freeways to see, hear, or photograph because of over use of a bright color, multiple colors on the car in any fashion other than factory styling, after market wings, excessive fog lights, uncountable amount of performance stickers for parts not installed on the car, removal of wiper blade(s), incorrectly lowered to the point of bending wheels, etc.
Riced cars come in all shapes and sizes from the all too common Honda Civic Hatchback to the Ford Mustang GT. Yes, sad, but true that some people even rice out true performance cars. No car is safe from rice. Even a VW Beetle from the seventies can be riced! It's not the car that is rice, but what is done to it.
Rice Boy/Girl as a street defintion
Rice Boy/Girl (noun): One who claims fast quarter mile runs, very high top speeds, road superiority, unsurpassed technological advancement, and superior driving skills in a vehicle, usually a motorcar, made for a family daily driver and/or economy and not so designed for racing such as a Honda Accord 4cyl, Acura Integra 4cyl, or Geo Metro 3cyl.
Ricers can be anyone from a Mexican at the very bottom end of California to the whitest of Caucasians up in New York. Age, sex, marital status...none of those things matters when it comes to being a Rice Boy/Girl. The Rice Boy/Girl does not care about performance. What matters to the Rice Boy/Girl is trying to give off the impression of speed and piss other motorists off by weaving in and out of traffic, as if in an autocross meet. Cars that have no business what-so-ever in the racing scene are made to appear as if they are true performance monsters! The cars that are most commonly riced are/were made for running to and from the grocery store or taking the family to and from school, not drag racing other vehicles.
