I was cruising in 130 km/h on a highway in Sweden when a AMG E55 came up fast behind me and went by in aprox 180 km/h , first I thought "no idea" to go after that one but I changed my mind
I wanted to see how much he was going to leave my 22 years old B7 behind
I "speeded" up and cought him when he had to slow down behind some other cars( there is only two lines in each way on the swedish highways )
Just behind him and we were driving in 100 km/h and I knew that he was going to floor it when the road was clean ( the driver was around 30 years old and alone)
Clean road and he floors it , BUT THE OLD B7 KEEPS THE DISTANCE INTACT FROM 100km/h UP TO 250km/h................
We had to brake real hard when we cought up some slower traffic and I thought that he didn´t floor it that time but I knew that the second time he will do it for sure
Same speed as the first time , from 100 km/h up to aprox 230 km/h when he suddenly goes in to the right side and slows down , he didn´t want to play anymore.........
I think the guy in the AMG must have been really confused when the old E24
did´t get smaller and smaller in his mirrors
I know that I had big help when I was in his "slip stream" all the time but anyway , I have to say that I am a "little bit" proud over what the old B7 can do
Ok it´s not 100% standard , it´s "tuned" for 220 Eur ( 1,1 bar instead of 0,9 , aprox 380 hp/ 600Nm)
