Úff......:
"Well, here's a post that relates directly to the topic of the thread (we've wandered a bit recently): At Mike O'Neil's recommendation and in coordination with Mike's own evaluation and analysis, my Bavarian Disaster engine is on its way to VAC in Philly, where its remaining components will be dismantled and evaluated over the course of the next ten days. VAC will make its recommendations about what should be done to fix the engine. The initial tear down showed nothing wrong with the heads, cams, valves, valvesprings, pistons, rings, rods, crankshaft or bearings, yet there is a ton of ferrous material throughout the engine. Given that the bearings are fine and the only other ferrous in the engine are the sleeves, that is the likely source of the problem, i.e., some form of cylinder deformation or piston to bore tolerances out of whack. Interestingly, the engine will NOT spin freely even when it should; there is some form of resistance manifesting itself in different places in the cycle on each turn, sometimes requiring a reverse crank to release it. Clearly, something is not right. In any event, VAC will diagnose and remedy and, with any luck, present me with a PROPERLY engineered S62 in the next month. More than sufficient time to break it in and invite Mr. X back to the States for tuning--hopefully, one last time.
In the meantime, I'm going to revamp my fuel delivery system and have some body and paint work done to the Beast.

EDIT: Þetta er semsagt taka III, ekki eftir atriðið með lol startup gaurnum.
