Dear Tinni,
- Or whoever gets to read this, as Tinni might not be amongst us anymore driving with these hazardous wheels!
Thank you for the pictures! They look very disturbing and I tell you why:
Facts:
1. Aside from the fact that this center-piece used to have five lug holes that have been welded shut and new four lug holes have been re-drilled, the center-pieces have been machined down to barely anything and as a result any stability has been taken from them. It is no wonder that they cracked, the aluminum is much too thin where it is bolted to the hub/brake disc. Normally this part is at least 3-4 cm thick. Yours looks like less than 1 cm where the bolt holes are. It surprises me that they have not broken sooner. The person who made or sold you these wheels should be in jail, as he put you and others around you in danger to your lives.
If the other three wheels look like this too, then they are not safe to drive.
2. This center-piece has never been an RS073, that number has been stamped in afterwards. The RS073 is a 15" center-piece (30 bolts around) that has step lips and barrels that make it a 16" wheel. We call that a 15/16 inch wheel. Your center-piece is most likely a 16" type. I can't tell from the pictures but I think it has 34 holes around and is made for real 16" barrels and lips. You need to keep that in mind when looking for new center-pieces. A real RS073 center will not fit your dishes.
I hope I can help, please don't drive with wheels like that. People deserve to live.
Best regards,
Hermann Gunz
