Racing seats without identification (FIA label removed), are not allowed. The same applies to FIA harnesses. Harnesses without identification (FIA label removed), are not allowed.
Your colleagues in England should make absolutely sure that the harnesses are correctly mounted on sufficiently strong mounting points.
Spax screws, harnesses mounted on the rear parcel shelf, harnesses held on by knots, are absolutely not up for discussion."

Jahá! ágætt að maður er coveraður þar, reyndar sætin mín ekki með mikinn líftíma aftir ef ég man rétt.

"After many hours of editing and proof reading, Rory and I have finished the corner by corner videos. They started as part of the `corner of the week` discussion threads and turned into a project by themselves.

They are aimed at people who haven`t done many laps. If you`ve driven 100`s, you`ll probably watch them and pick fault saying "I drive xxx through that corner". These videos aren`t aimed at you, but those who want to try and get round in one piece. ;)

As I say on each clip, these are MY lines, FWD Car and what I find works for me. Don`t blindly follow the line / speed without taking into account of the conditions, other traffic, your car and most importantly, your ability :karl:

I`ve put all the videos into a `Channel` on Vimeo to enable easy navigation.

Simply click the image below or THIS LINK to view them.

Mikið rosalega röbbar GT2, en skemmtilegt að horfa á þetta.

"RSRNurburg back on the Nurburgring!

RSRNurburg won against Nurburgring Automotive GmbH!!

Today the High Court senate of judges made it very clear to the Nurburgring Automotive GmbH that their case is an abuse against the German Anti Trust laws. RSRNurburg was banned from the track for a second time effective december 2010. RSRNurburg was accused from driver training during tourist traffic on the Nordschleife. Since this is ‘unsafe’ according to Nurburgring Automotive GmbH, this is not allowed. Important detail is that Nurburgring Automotive offers the same product to customers since this year.

Nurburgring Automotive has a monopoly and by banning RSRNurburg from the track they are abusing this monopoly. Besides this protection from Anti Trust competition rights, RSRNurburg also holds a contract dated january 2010 which can never be terminated (since termination would be against the Anti Trust law). Due to the fact that the High Court is the last station, there is no option for an appeal for the Nurburgring.

RSRNurburg driver training, car rentals & trackdays is the oldest and most established business in this field at the Nurburgring. A fleet of over 60 cars from Renault Clio Cups up to LMP2 cars and everything in between is available. Over the last 10 years RSRNurburg served well over 10.000 customers among them many out of the automotive industry as well as a selection of well known racing drivers.
RSRNurburg has made a name for itself with 10 years of high quality driver training. Their extensive knowledge of tracks like the Nurburgring Nordschleife and Spa Francorchamps is second to none.

‘justice still exists and even the Nurburgring is not above the law. Many companies are affected by the questionable dealings of the new regime. I truly hope that this is inspiration for all of them to raise their voices and take on the fight’ said Ron Simons after the court case.
